What will a session be like?

As your therapist, I witness the stuck places and the wonderful places you can go to. I’ll help you slow down inside and check those places out more and explore the experience of them. I’ll guide you and help you. Most of the times people find that relying on their knowledge of their behaviors alone haven’t gotten them very far out of those stuck places. So, together in therapy we’ll get under that piece to help you create a change.

The sessions I hold are practical, warm, and interactive. I encourage bravery, humor, authenticity, and personal empowerment. I support you exactly where you are, and gently but steadily guide you to where you’d like to be.

Healing Happens Therapy

Healing requires bravery, we all have bravery, even if it takes some digging to discover.

“You can heal,  we can help.”

Looking for help can be hard, but healing does happen. I practice as a Marriage Family Therapist Intern under Grateful Heart Holisitc Therapy Center, supervised by Mary Owen MFT# 14190. Clients here can rise through the anguish that holds them down and take back their purpose, their drive, the calm and their self- worth.  We support you having ambitious destinations for your health and wellness.  You can learn how to set, achieve and keep goals in your life. You can learn to reclaim your energy against old patterns and wounds.  Couples can re-ignite and learn how to actually hear one another, touch each other, and grow old together.  We’re  glad you’re here, we can help.

In the meantime… Tips to begin to help yourselves:

Services

Couples:

Therapy with your mate can provide you with new perspectives and positive options.  Powerful strategies and tools are needed to break old patterns and overcome the challenges.

It is true that most adults enter into relationships today without having had the right tools to eventually be successful.  This explains the rate of divorce and discontent.   Couples therapy gives you the knowledge to learn how to speak, how to be heard, touched, adored, and grow old together.  These tools are priceless for your lives whether you are fielding a current conflict or want to come in for preventive measures to insure a connected union.

Individuals:

Whether you are coming in to try and resolve deep issues or are interested in gaining a better insight on balancing and integrating your day to day life, there is a space for you here.  What is important to remember is that you are the expert on yourself!  I will gladly guide you to the places you’d rather be in your life and help unfold some of the mysteries that have been lurking in order to heal and grow.  Understanding how we became who we are is one of the tools to unfolding the true person we want to be.  Healing does Happen.
